Square IPC started with two directors who had already spent more than 15 years working in the insulated panel and cold storage industry before deciding to build something of their own.
Both Australian, with European roots, they came from years of practical site experience — the kind of experience you only build by being around the work, understanding the pressure of live sites, and seeing how much difference good people, good materials and good communication can make.
In the beginning, Square focused mainly on smaller commercial projects. Those early jobs shaped the way the business still works today: stay close to the client, understand the site properly, keep the finish clean, and do what you said you were going to do.
Over time, the company grew. Around three years ago, Square became a more structured operation, with dedicated teams for construction and maintenance. That growth did not change the way the business sees people. Many of our workers have been with us long-term, and we are proud of that.

Our clients rely on us because we try to be practical and honest. We respond quickly, we attend urgent call-outs when needed, and we provide photos and reports so the client can see what has been done. When there is more than one way to approach a job, we try to give options — whether that means a repair, a replacement, or a staged solution that suits the site and the situation.
We do not believe in pushing unnecessary work. If a repair is enough, we will say that. If a replacement is the better long-term option, we will explain why.
The same approach applies to our suppliers. In construction and maintenance, quality cannot be saved on. Panels, doors, hardware, seals, motors and related materials all matter, because every part affects the performance of the final job. That is why we work with trusted Australian suppliers who can support the quality, timing and reliability our clients expect.
For us, Square is not only about cold rooms, freezer rooms, doors or maintenance. It is about the people behind the work — our team, our clients and the suppliers who help us deliver properly.
